The 35-year-old musician, and mom of two, revealed that she fully supports others using her voice for AI generated songs. Keep reading to find out more… In a new tweet over the weekend, Grimes shared that she’s eager to hear more music that’s AI generated, and would be game to team up with the creators to split the profits. “I’ll split 50% royalties on any successful AI generated song that uses my voice,” she wrote. “Same deal as I would with any artist i collab with.
Feel free to use my voice without penalty. I have no label and no legal bindings.” Grimes added that she’s “curious what even happens and interested in being a Guinea pig.” Her tweets come just after an AI-generated song called “Heart on My Sleeve”, which sampled both Drake and The Weeknd‘s voices, went viral.
