Girl, 4, dies after being found in Scots town as cops probe 'unexplained' death

A young girl has died after being found unresponsive at a property in a Scots town.Police have launched a probe into the four-year-old's 'unexplained' death after being called to Eastwood Avenue, Stranraer, at around 6.10am on Sunday July 16.The child was rushed to hospital where she was pronounced dead a short time later.

The circumstances surrounding her death are not known at this time.Pictures from the scene showed officers guarding a property, with ambulance crews nearby.

Cops have since launched a probe into the death, which they are currently treating as unexplained.
