Puppy found dead on A90 after being hit by vehicle as cops launch probe

A puppy was found dead on one of Scotland's busiest roads after it was struck by a vehicle. The eight-month-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross-type dog was found on the A90 at Stonehaven near the Spurryhillock Southbound exit.

The incident is believed to have happened between 10 pm on Sunday, July 9 and 7 am on Monday, July 10.Police have confirmed inquiries are ongoing, and are urging any members of the public with information regards the incident to come forward.PC Bruce from Stonehaven Police Station said, “I would urge anyone with any information or dashcam footage to get in touch with us to assist with our enquiry.
