George R.R. Martin Reveals Most 'Perfect' TV Episode of All Time (& It's Not 'Game of Thrones' Related)
justjared.comGame of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin is responsible for some of the most critically acclaimed TV shows in recent memory, but he doesn’t think they’re the best of all time.
The original series based on his novels was critically acclaimed and remains a fan-favorite years after its conclusion. Spinoff series House of the Dragon premiered in 2022 and was renewed for a second season.
He took to his blog to react to a Vanity Fair article that listed the Game of Thrones episode “Blackwater” as one of “25 perfect TV episodes from the last 25 years.” That is one of four episodes he wrote for the show.
