A van has been plastered with angry notes from disgruntled locals after being abandoned on a street for weeks. Fuming residents on Chessel Street in Bedminster, Bristol, have made their feelings known after the converted camper was parked outside two terraced homes.Homeowners have become fed up with the Mercedes having sat on their street for more than a month - and have covered the windscreen with both blunt and passive-aggressive messages.

One note claims that the vehicle blocks the light in their home, while another complains that a child in one of the homes it is parked outside can "no longer communicate with her friends across the road", Bristol Live reports. The simplest message is also the boldest, with two A4 sheets of paper which read 'PLEASE MOVE' plastered right across the centre of the windscreen.

Other handwritten notes have been placed underneath the wipers. It is the latest in a series of parking disputes in the area, which is tightly packed with terraced houses and is just outside the residents' parking zones for both Southville and Bedminster East - and is, therefore, a common spot for passing drivers to park. The large white van on Chessel Street is taxed and MOT'd and is parked legally, since it isn't obstructing the road, which has no parking restrictions.

However, locals have spoken of their frustration with it being left in situ for so long. The Mercedes appears to be a live-in camper van, but not one that is currently being utilised in that manner.
