Four charged in connection with death of woman after body found in Ayr flat

Four people have been charged in connection with the death of a woman whose body was found at a flat in Ayr. Susan Turner, 41, was discovered dead at the property in Nursery Hall at around 10.15am on Monday, March 27, after the alarm was raised.Following the results of a post mortem, police confirmed they were treating her death as suspicious and launched a murder investigation.

Two men, aged 25 and 49, and two women, 40 and 41, have now been arrested and charged. They are due to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court on Thursday, April 6.A report will be submitted to the Procurator and Fiscal Service.
