A baby has been taken to hospital after an alleged dog attack in south Wales. Police were called to an address in Penyrheol, Caerphilly at around 9am this morning (Saturday, April 29) following reports of a dog attack.
Officers attended alongside paramedics from the Welsh Ambulance Service and a five-month-old was taken to hospital. Their injuries are not said to be life-threatening.
The dog was seized by officers who are continuing to investigate what happened. No other animals were involved in the attack reports Wales Online. "It is possible that you may see ongoing police activity in Caerphilly as part of this work, but please do not be alarmed.
