South American soap opera star Jefferson Machado has been found dead – months after he went missing.

R7 confirmed that the remains of the actor, who starred in the soap opera Reis, were recovered on Monday May 22 in the backyard of a home in Campo Grande, Brazil.  His body had been placed in a trunk, believed to be owned by the 44-year-old, and then buried six feet under ground. In a statement on Facebook, the Machado family attorney Jairo Magalhae Pereira confirmed the star’s death, and shared that the family is now seeking "truth and justice".

Police footage showed the trunk getting exhumed from the ground — a task that reportedly took nine people to accomplish, the Daily Mail reported.While the probe is ongoing, police are currently investigating a man who had rented the property.

In the wake of the tragic passing of Taylor Hawkins last March, the band enlisted the help of other famous drummers, including Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith, Mötley Crüe’s Tommy Lee and Tool’s Danny Carey, to tease the ultimate arrival of Freese.  Each musician was welcomed into the studio by the band, only to deliver a funny remark like, "There's a white Mercedes blocking me," "I got the P.F. Chang's" and "I groomed your poodles for you." With multiple interruptions, an agitated voice off camera can be heard yelling, "Excuse me," before cutting to Freese behind the drums.

The latest entry, which is the most expensive with its $100 million price tag, opened in March to $73.5 million, notching a new domestic franchise record. “John Wick” is one of the rare franchises that has gotten more successful with each installment. The first movie tapped out with $86.1 million in 2014 but it became a sleeper hit on home entertainment, while the 2017 sequel ended its run with $174.3 million. 2019’s “Parabellum,” which is the highest grossing entry prior to “Chapter 4,” left the big screen with $328.3 million globally.

McMurphy, a character famously portrayed by Jack Nicholson in the 1975 movie adaptation of Ken Kesey’s 1962 novel. Sources also tell me that Tony winner Laura Benanti will play Nurse Ratched. The team behind the reading have their hopes set on a Broadway run. The reading is directed by Young Vic artistic director Kwame Kwei-Armah. Scott Delman produces. Delman is also on board as a producer of the “Thelma & Louise” musical, which has been workshopped with Amanda Seyfried and Evan Rachel Wood starring.
