Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O'Connell (born December 18, 2001) is an American singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Highland Park, Los Angeles, Eilish began singing at a young age. She gained media attention in 2016, when she uploaded the song "Ocean Eyes" on SoundCloud, subsequently released by Darkroom and Interscope Records. "Ocean Eyes" was written and produced by her brother Finneas, with whom she collaborates on music and live shows. Eilish's debut EP, Don't Smile at Me (2017), reached the top 15 in the US, UK, Canada and Australia.

Finneas Defends Sister Billie Eilish After TikToker Says Her 'Guess' Verse is 'Predatory' Towards Charli XCX

Finneas is fiercely defending his younger sister Billie Eilish. On Thursday (August 1), Billie, 22, teamed up with Charli XCX on the remix of “Guess,” and in the accompanying music video, the two entertainers rolled around in piles of underwear.

After the collab was released, on TikToker slammed Billie‘s lyrics as “highkey predatory” towards Charli, 32. Keep reading to find out more…The TikToker went on to accuse Billie of “queerbaiting” and “reducing girls to mere objects, all in an effort to convince the masses that she’s actually into them.” The backlash appears to stem from the lyrics in which Billie sings, “Charli likes boys, but she knows I’d hit it / Charli, call me if you’re with it.” After catching wind of the criticism, Finneas, 27, took to the comment section to fire back and defend Billie. “What a take you little clown,” Finneas wrote, according to Billboard. “I got to watch the entire internet slam my sister for queer-baiting for an entire year when in reality, you were all forcing her to label and out herself.” In an interview from earlier this year, Billie opened up about her sexuality and reflected on being publicly outed.
