Scots DJ Ewan McVicar has praised council chiefs for being 'legends' as fans snap up extra tickets for his huge homecoming Ayr gig.

The hit producer released an additional batch of briefs to his massive show at the Low Green in April. The 'Tell Me Something Good' star will take over the beachfront grounds in the shadow of the iconic Ayr Pavilion.

Ayrshire Live told his week how the council bosses had granted Ewan a capacity increase taking the total number of fans from 5,000 to 7,500.
