Flying the flag for the UK at this year's Eurovision Song Contest is Olly Alexander. The singer will hope to improve on the UK’s previous result when he takes to the Malmö Arena with his dance-infused track Dizzy.
The 68th Eurovision takes place on Saturday May 11 after Sweden's Loreen won last year's contest with her song Tattoo. The UK's odds of winning the contest were 150/1 ahead of the show, according to Ladbrokes. The band was formed in 2010 by Mikey Goldsworthy, Noel Leeman and Emre Turkmen. Olly, now 33, joined as the lead singer after Mikey heard him singing in the shower.
Years & Years rose to prominence when their 2015 single King topped the UK charts. They went on to put out three albums, with two reaching number one: 2015's Communion and Palo Santo, which was released in 2018.
