East Kilbride's MP praised the "essential" palliative care services of the town's hospice as she made a donation this week.Dr Lisa Cameron, MP for East Kilbride, Strathaven and Lesmahagow presented Kilbryde Hospice with a cheque for £100 to help with their ongoing fundraising.The MP said having a local hospice is "essential to delivering dignity and person-centred care" as she revealed she lost a family member in hospital when palliative care was unavailable in East Kilbride.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
