Dramatic video shows smoke engulfing house in Bolton as firefighters tackle blaze
manchestereveningnews.co.ukFirefighters have been tackling a blaze at a house in Bolton throughout the night. Fire crews were called to reports of a domestic building fire on Mobberley Road at around 11.15pm on Saturday (June 25).
Five fire engines from across Greater Manchester were in attendance. Residents nearby were advised to keep their doors and windows closed and to avoid the area as crews tackled the blaze. Residents were seen looking on whilst standing behind a cordon. Photos from the scene also show the fire has caused extensive damage to the property’s roof.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said operations have since been scaled back having made good progress with the blaze but firefighters remain at the scene.
