Dan Walker has opened up on his horror bike crash, saying he's grateful he was “okay” but noting how medics were concerned about him.
The Channel 5 news presenter addressed his injuries during an appearance on ITV's lunchtime show Loose Women on Tuesday. The 46-year-old former BBC Breakfast presenter was left "out cold for about 20 minutes" after he was involved in a collision with a car as he travelled to a Sheffield train station back in February.
Dan said he was “glad to be alive” as he shared shocking images of his bloodied and bruised face following the incident. Interviewing Dan about his recovery on Loose Women, host Ruth Langsford said he was “looking well”. "Your make-up artist is excellent," Dan joked.
He added: "I still can't feel a part of my lip and I've got a lump on my hip and I might have to have a tooth out because they're slightly concerned that I might have lost blood supply. "But I'm okay.
