Coronation Street's Lucy Fallon says 'confirmed' as new 'romance' teased with co-star
manchestereveningnews.co.ukLucy Fallon has jokingly 'confirmed' the possibility of a new romance for Bethany Platt in Coronation Street. The actress recently returned to the cobbles as she reprised her role as the daughter of Sarah Barlow and granddaughter of Platt matriarch Gail Platt.
It was rumoured the actress was reprising her role in the ITV soap last summer and months later, Lucy confirmed that news. She was seen back hanging out with her former co-stars at the Inside Soap Awards in September and after, she took to Instagram and sent fans wild as she said: "Bethany’s… back??" Bethany was then seen back on-screen on New Year's Eve when she quickly reunited with former flame Daniel Osbourne before surprising Sarah with her return to Weatherfield from London where she'd gone to forge a career in journalism. But Lucy and Charlotte Jordan, who plays Daisy, appear to be championing another romance for the pair - with each other. Charlotte, who joined the long-running soap in 2020, was taking part in a big Q&A on Instagram with her followers when she was asked: "Daisy + Ryan or Daisy + Daniel???!!"
