During Monday night's trip to the cobbles (June 19), viewers of the ITV soap saw Toyah, played by Georgia Taylor, working behind the bar at the Bistro where she was seen serving Amy and her pal Summer Spellman shots.
Amy, portrayed by Elle Mulvaney, was trying to let her hair down after Aaron Sanford dropped the libel case against her after she publicly declared he had raped her during a drunken night together. Join our new Coronation Street WhatsApp group by clicking here As he struggled to write the retraction which would ultimately have seen Amy claim to have lied about what Aaron did, her former friend went back over that night and later, he was seen visiting Amy and emotionally telling her they weren't going through with the case.
But struggling to admit what really happened, despite Amy's brave questioning of him over what happened that night, he got into his dad's car and left the cobbles, leading to an exit for both Aaron and actor James Craven.
