West Lothian all-rounder earns Scotland call-up for World T20 qualifiers
dailyrecord.co.ukFresh off falling agonisingly short of qualifying for the 2023 ICC World Cup, Livingston cricketer Jack Jarvis has been called into the Scotland squad for their T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier, which takes place in Edinburgh.
The Scots will play six fixtures across nine days in the capital and will be considered favourites to qualify – along with Ireland –as the top two reach the 2024 T20 World Cup in the West Indies and USA.All-rounder Jarvis, a product of the Livingston CC youth system, will be aiming to play a key role along the way with Scotland opening against Germany on Thursday before taking on Jersey the following day.It’s then two days off before facing Italy (July 24), Austria (July 25) and Denmark (July 27).The Scots finish off the group stage with a potential decider against Ireland on July 28.
