The final three episodes of the current season of Saturday Night Live have been put on ice following the start of the writers strike this week.

NBC, the home of the popular late night show, announced that they would be airing re-runs of the show instead of releasing new content as the strike is ongoing.

That means that three already booked hosts will no longer be able to appear on the show. One of them was a returning cast member, another would have been a second-time host and one was set to make their hosting debut.
