Brooklyn Beckham has been seen going for a drive in the vintage $500,000 car that his father David gifted him for his wedding to Nicola Peltz.The 24 year old was seen driving the classic Jaguar around West Hollywood with a pal - but his 28 year old wife was nowhere to be seen.

Brooklyn and his American beau tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony in April 2022, which was attended by the likes of his parents' pals, Gordon Ramsay and Eva Longoria.The couple were presented with the pale blue classic car after they got married at Nicola’s billionaire father Nelson’s £70million estate in Palm Beach, Florida.

The classic car was re-engineered and converted to an electric vehicle by restoration company Lunaz, a company of which David, 47, is an investor.

David and his wife, Victoria Beckham, 48, were seen taking the car for a spin in the days prior to their eldest son's nuptials.

Amanda Gorman ‘Gutted’ by Ban of Inauguration Poetry Book From Florida School
wrote on Twitter on Tuesday. The request to ban “The Hill We Climb: An Inaugural Poem for the Country,” which includes Gorman’s now-famous spoken word “The Hill We Climb” that she recited at the 2021 inauguration of Joe Biden was made in March, per a complaint Gorman also posted on Twitter. In the ban request the complainant claimed “The Hill We Climb” contains content that is “not educational,” and that it is “indirectly hate messages.” They also stated that the subject matter is “not for schools” and it can “cause confusion” and “indoctrinates students.” On the document, the complainant stated that Oprah Winfrey was the “author/publisher” of the book though the poem was written by Gorman. “Book bans aren’t new. But they have been on the rise—according to the ALA, 40% more books were challenged in 2022 compared to 2021,” Gorman continued.

Eva Longoria said Tuesday that female directors of color don’t get as many chances as White men in Hollywood.  "I felt the weight of my community, I felt the weight of every female director because we don’t get a lot of bites at the apple," the "Desperate Housewives" alum said at Cannes of her feature directorial debut "Flamin’ Hot" during the Kering Women in Motion talk.  Longoria, who has directed episodes of "Black-ish" and "Jane the Virgin," said she realized the last Latina-directed studio film was 20 years ago.  "We can’t get a movie every 20 years," she said.
