Brendan Rodgers has defended his character after the Celtic boss became embroiled in a sexism row following a post-match interview with a female reporter at Fir Park on Sunday.Rodgers has come under fire from Feminist groups following a spiky post match exchange with BBC Scotland’s pitchside reporter Jane Lewis which he ended abruptly by saying “good girl” when refusing to elaborate on what he meant by saying that this season’s story had “already been written” following a 3-1 win over Motherwell.Lewis broke her silence on the row when she said she wasn’t offended by the remark.

That came shortly before Rodgers met the assembled media at the club’s Lennoxtown training ground ahead of the Hoops home clash with Dundee on Wednesday.
