Boots customers are rushing to buy a bottle of designer perfume that has been reduced by £48.50 ahead of Christmas. The YSL perfume, which has become a cult scent staple amongst beauty buffs, has been described by some as 'luxurious and long-lasting', and now it's the cheapest price we have seen it.

Normally £97 for a full-size 50ml bottle, YSL's Black Opium Eau de Parfum Extreme has been slashed to £48.50 for a limited time as one of Boots' Star Gifts.

Meanwhile it is £88 at Superdrug, and £97 at the Perfume Shop. The designer YSL fragrance has received an overall rating of 4.8 stars from more than 2,000 reviews on the Boots website, with fans of the perfume praising its 'long lasting' ability and captivating, unique scent.
