The BBC has been flooded with complaints over Kate Middleton's appearance on Children In Need. The fundraiser was broadcast live on TV on Friday night (Nov 17) in a bid to raise millions of pounds for children's charities.
At least £4.3m had already been raised before the show started thanks to BBC Radio 2 host Vernon Kay. The Bolton-born presenter and former model took part in a four-day 115-mile ultramarathon from Leicester to Bolton - crossing the finish line on Friday morning.
Friday night's show, which ran for three hours, saw sketches, comedy, music, and performances with a number of specials planned including a one-off Doctor Who short, MasterChef Puppet Champion and The Graham Norton Show’s Red Chair. The mum-of-three told viewers that Children In Need is 'all about helping to support, champion and empower all children to be the very best they can be'.
