The Royal George in Greenfield, underwent a £400,000 update in September which saw the pub close for five weeks. During the refurbishment the pub was completely transformed with changes made to both the interior and exterior with a focus on creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for customers.
Since the upgrade the but has seen a 40 per cent increase in sales compared to last year, while bookings for Christmas are at their highest levels.
A larger dining area was created for customers to enjoy a full table service experience while maintaining a lot of the original features which patrons will be familiar with.
