Lorraine Kelly broke down in tears on her ITV show this morning as she welcomed the husband of her late producer along with their baby Rory.
ITV producer Hannah Hawkins passed away last month after being diagnosed with terminal cancer for the second time at 25, just two months after becoming a first-time mum.Today her husband Tom appeared on the Scots star's daily programme where he opened up on how he's been coping since Hannah's death, as well as his beloved wife's last request before she died.
Speaking about the last few weeks of Hannah's life, he said: "She was focussed on us being okay."One of the last conversations I had with her was she was saying, 'I want you to find love again, I want Rory to grow up in a family and have brothers and have sisters." Lorraine, who was emotional November when she announced the "saddest news" that her colleague had passed, then replied: "That's so typical, her thinking about everything else."A remarkable girl.
She had breast cancer and then it came back when she was pregnant and you knew how bad it was, but when someone is still with you there's hope so it was a real shock to everybody."Tom said: "Absolutely," before he went on to praise Lorraine's Change + Check campaign which dedicated a charity single with Joss Stone to his wife.
