The former Strictly Come Dancing pro has recently ditched the UK with her husband Aljaz Skorjanec and their daughter, Lyra Rose.
It is the first time the couple, who welcomed Lyra into the world last year, have travelled to Miami to see Janette's family with their baby girl, with her beloved family coming to the UK to meet their granddaughter and niece for the first time.
Sharing a sweet picture from the plane, Janette said on Instagram: "Our first long haul flight and it was not as easy or straight forward as we would have liked, but we made it to Miami and in the midst of the madness we found pockets of joy and excitement to be travelling together as a little family.
