BBC News presenter quits job after a decade to join rival Sky News

BBC News presenter Yalda Hakim has revealed that she is leaving the BBC after over a decade on screen. The foreign correspondent took to social media on Thursday to reveal that she will be leaving her current employers to move on to pastures new at another channel, writes The Mirror.Opening up on leaving the Beeb behind, Yalda said she was "forever grateful" for her time there, and for her colleagues.

She then received several congratulatory messages from viewers for her time on the news channel, with many sad to see her leave.She posted: "After more than a decade with @BBCWorld @BBCNews I have decided to depart the organisation.
