Anna Kendrick didn’t make ANY money off her latest movie because she felt “gross” about it! If you’ve been scrolling through Netflix recently, you may have seen the Pitch Perfect star’s latest film Woman of the Hour.
It’s about the Rodney Alcala serial murders in El Lay in the ‘70s, and how a young woman (played by Anna) crosses paths with him on an episode of a dating show.

So, she put a LOT of work into this project. But she didn’t end up cashing any checks for it!! So, instead of just quietly stuffing the funds in her bank account and trying not to think about it too much, she made the noble decision to donate her profits to the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN) and the National Center for Victims of Violent Crime!
