dailyrecord.co.ukAmazon has today announced a brand new deal that will get certain shoppers a Prime membership for half-price - with a free trial for six months.It's a known fact that the online retailer has been offering students a Prime membership for half-price over the course of many years.
Now that deal has been expanded to also cover everyone who is aged between 18-22 years-old.Ahead of Prime Day on July 16-17, customers in the UK within that age group can now begin their Prime journey with a free six month trial.
They will then pay £4.49 per month, or £47.49 per year after the trial has ended. Up until today (July 2), non-students between the ages of 18-22 would only be getting the regular 30-day free trial.
After the trial ended, they would then be charged £8.99 per month, or £95 per year.If you are within the qualifying age group for the new 50 percent off deal, then you need to be a new member when you sign up for Amazon Prime.
