Amanda Holden was left in tears and feeling depressed after her youngest daughter finished prep school. The Britain's Got Talent judge opened up on the emotional day with her Heart Breakfast co-host Jamie Theakson as she confessed that she cried while picking Hollie up from school.

I feel a bit depressed today. I think there might be lots of mummy and daddies that feel like me today."I went down to the prep gate of my daughter’s school yesterday to watch her and all her little friends who she’s been at that school with since she was four leave."Amanda continued: "They all came out of the gates, all in tears… except my daughter.

It was like, 'I don’t know why everyone’s crying, mummy, we’re gonna see them in year seven in the mix school'."And I’m like, 'it’s an end of an era'."Jamie then asked: ‘Hang on, you were in tears?’ to which Amanda replied: ‘Well, I was absolutely fine until I gave one of my favourite teachers a hug.
