The One Show has paid tribute to their former reporter Dr Michael Mosley following the tragic news of his passing. The beloved presenter, who was also a regular on This Morning and BBC Radio 4's Just One Thing, had last been seen on the Greek island of Symi, enjoying a holiday with his wife, Dr Clare Bailey.The 67 year old went missing after he left for a solo walk around 1:30pm on Wednesday and was sadly found deceased on Sunday.
On Monday's episode of the BBC programme, hosted by Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas, the team honoured their late colleague. At the beginning of the show, Alex made a heartfelt statement, followed by remembrances from other past co-workers.
Alex solemnly shared: "Good evening. We're starting tonight's show with the sad news that we've lost a dear friend and colleague.
Dr Michael Mosley was part of the original line-up of One Show reporters, who made his first appearance in 2007, and he's been a familiar presence on the show ever since." Jermaine continued with a touching message: "We've already had hundreds of messages from you sharing what a difference he made to your lives.
