Niyah Joseph [the club’s top scorer] and Sean Fagan [defender] didn’t play, but the changes worked fairly well and we were 2-0 up.“At that point we should have been three, four or five up, to be honest.“But in the second half, we just weren’t as efficient as we should have been.“We let them back into the game with a sloppy corner.
We got caught and we had to defend that better. We lost a goal towards the end where we got sloppy again, but it was a good reaction from the players, to be fair.“I’m really pleased for young Tylar getting his first goal for the club.“It was an important one to give us the victory and avoid extra-time.“I made a few judgements to try things.
There were a few objectives in the game and I learned a lot from it, to be honest.“To play a different way and use different personnel was good.
