A bus driver who managed to bag a massive £182k prize has thanked his late mum for the huge windfall. Paul Tomlinson and his wife Joanne hit a lottery jackpot double after his beloved mum Irene persuaded them to buy a ticket.
Irene won £2,217 with the People’s Postcode Lottery five years ago and encouraged her loved ones to sign up to the draw. Sadly, Irene died of heart failure aged 80 and never got to witness her family receive the massive cash payout. Paul, 40, says his beloved mum would have been delighted for them. “My mum won a few years ago and we joined up because of that,” he said. “Mum encouraged us to sign up. “Mum was really happy with her win.
