Zack and Whitney's world collapses as they receive terrible baby news in EastEnders
msn.comZack Hudson (James Farrar) and Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) had their worlds rocked when Whitney discovered she was pregnant following their one night stand in EastEnders.
Initially, Zack wanted nothing to do with Whitney and the baby, and Whitney assured him that that was fine – she could raise it alone.
However, he soon changed his mind, promising to be there for Whitney and their baby all through the pregnancy and beyond. Having finally got used to the idea that they are going to be parents, they were rocked with the news that Whitney’s ultrasound flagged up a condition called Omphalocele, which could put the baby at risk should it carry the genetic link.
Terrified, Whitney put off having any tests, before Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) managed to convince her otherwise. In upcoming scenes, Whitney and Zack will receive the results of their CVS test, only to be left heartbroken by what has been found.
