The government has confirmed that eligible benefit and Tax Credit claimants will soon receive £300 as part of the second cost of living payment.
However, it highlighted that certain groups will receive this payment slightly later than others. This can happen for a variety of reasons such as what type of qualifying benefit you earn or when you were awarded a payment.
According to the government, people receiving their benefits from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) will get the £300 from October 31.
This includes benefits such as Universal Credit and Income-based Jobseeker's allowance.
