Why Rio Ferdinand thinks Man United takeover hasn't been completed as he criticises the Glazers

Rio Ferdinand has criticised the Glazer family for their poor communication throughout the takeover process, claiming the only reason a takeover has still not been completed is because "you're not dealing with one individual with the Glazers".

Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani are the interested parties. It is a takeover saga that has been rumbling on since last November when the Glazer family announced they were open to the idea of selling the club.

Sheikh Jassim is hoping to complete a full takeover of United and has vowed to clear the club's debt. Ratcliffe's bid would see him buy a majority stake in the club, meaning the Glazer family would remain at Old Trafford.
