Urgent search for missing Scots man who vanished over a week ago

An urgent search has been launched for a missing Scots man as concern grows for his welfare.Corrie McLaren has been reported missing from the Dumbarton area and was last seen in Ashton View around 11.30am on Thursday, September 14.The 30-year-old has not been in touch with his family since he was reported missing and they are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.Corrie is described as being around 6 feet and of slim build with short black hair.

He was wearing black Nike shorts and a grey and black Nike tracksuit top when he was last seen.He is known to spend time in the Dumbarton and Alexandria areas.

Police are urging anyone with information on Corrie's whereabouts to get in touch. Sergeant Matt Hooper from Dumbarton Police Station said: “Corrie normally checks in with his family but has not done so since he was reported missing, and they are growing increasingly concerned for him. “He is known to spend time in the Dumbarton and Alexandria areas, and I would appeal to anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 3084 on Monday, 18 September, 2023."
