Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.
Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.
Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.
Two Scots rescued from boat after suffering from exposure to toxic gas
dailyrecord.co.ukA Scots coastguard team were called to rescue two people from a boat suffering from exposure to a toxic gas. Stornoway Coastguard were alerted to the incident at around 3:20pm on Tuesday, February 14.
They met the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and Stornoway RNLI at the local harbour and the two casualties, suffering from exposure to oxone gas, were transferred to the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.No information is available on the condition of both at this stage.A spokesperson for the Maritime and Coastguard Agency said: "Stornoway RNLI Lifeboat was sent to evacuate two people reporting exposure to oxone gas from a vessel approx.
1nm south of Stornoway Harbour."The lifeboat was met by the Stornoway Coastguard Rescue Team and both casualties were safely transferred into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service."The Scottish Ambulance Service have been approached for comment.
