Police launch CCTV appeal after man stabbed on university campus

During the attack the victim, a man in his 20s, suffered injuries to his hand which police say 'were consistent with a bladed article being used.' A woman in her 30s was also punched in the face as she tried to clam the situation down.

Pc Joe Couchman, of GMP's Longsight district, said: "This is completely unacceptable behaviour and we are following a number of lines of enquiry to try and identify the offenders. "We are now in a position to see if anyone has any information or witnessed the incident, please contact us as soon as possible."
