Two men have been charged after a police raid recovered £1 million worth of 'street valium.'Officers targeted the property in the Danderhall area of Midlothian on Tuesday, September 12, after intelligence suspected the production and supply of illegal drugs at the address.The seized items involved in the production of diazepam, including a pill press, along with a whopping 900,000 tablets.

Other unidentified substances, including powders, are currently undergoing further forensic testing, were also recovered. Two men, aged 42 and 60, were arrested at the property and have since been charged.

Both will at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today, Thursday, September, 14. Detective Chief Inspector Bryan Burns said: “Officers discovered a sophisticated criminal enterprise believed to have been producing vast amounts of illegal drugs with a significant quantity, and mechanisms to produce more, successfully seized. “Our officers are removing drugs from communities right across Scotland day in, day out.
