Police officers found Ashley Dale's dog 'cowering in the corner' after she was shot dead in her own home, a trial has heard.

The Knowsley Council worker died aged 28 after being shot in the abdomen and collapsing in the backyard of her home on Leinster Road shortly after midnight on August 21 last year.
