Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino is throwing a little shade at Threads after Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced his platform had crossed 100 million signups in less than a week. “Don’t want to leave you hanging by a thread… but Twitter, you really outdid yourselves!

Last week we had our largest usage day since February. There’s only ONE Twitter. You know it. I know it,” Yaccarino tweeted.

Yaccarino’s message came after Zuckerberg shared the news that Threads reached the milestone this past weekend adding without heavy spending on advertising. “That’s mostly organic demand and we haven’t even turned on many promotions yet.

Can’t believe it’s only been 5 days,” Zuckerberg posted.
