Emmerdale fans are set to see a triple exit for one much-loved family as they plan to escape from the Yorkshire village. Dan Spencer, daughter Amelia and grandaughter Esther are set to make a run for it to try and avoid a prison sentence for Dan, who has just been charged with manslaughter for his attack on Lloyd Sawyer in July.
Amelia's stalker Lloyd was left in a coma after the attack, however, during Thursday's episode he was pronounced dead. The news that Dan's punch has killed Lloyd has turned the Spencer's world upside down, with the prospect of a hefty prison sentence ahead of them.
And despite being charged, Daisy Campbell, who plays Amelia and Liam Fox, who plays Dan, have hinted that they could be leaving the village in an interview with the Express.
Liam explained that Dan doesn't want to go on the run, but he knows that he won't be suited to prison life. He told them: "He just thinks there is no way out of this, he can’t stand the thought of being without his daughter and his granddaughter, and he realises he is not going to be suited to prison life at all. "So the only option seems to be that he is going to go on the run." As for Amelia, she is a young girl who needs her dad, and Daisy says that is one of the reasons why they think about going on the run.
