During this morning's cookery section where chef Becky Excell showed hosts Dermot and Alison Hammond how to cook delicious homemade cornflake fishfingers, the 50 year old was left baffled.
Cooking got underway with Alison adding that the process was "so easy." Becky added some helpful tips in too, for budding chefs who like to make good work of their air fryer. "People think with air fryers that you don't need to use any oil but it's always best to use a little oil.
It gives it a bit of colour and a bit of crispiness." She added that it's still incredibly healthy. "You're not deep fryer - you're not using that much oil." Dermot looked on intrigued by the process and nodded in agreement as Becky worked away on her culinary delight.
