Selena Kuznikov “The Fall Guy” will soon be available to stream at home on Peacock — stunts and all. It will arrive on the service Aug.
30. An extended version of the action-comedy film, starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt, also will bow the same day on Peacock, featuring 20 minutes of new scenes not previously seen in theaters. “The Fall Guy: The Extended Cut” includes “more action, stunts, romance and more sexy bacon!” according to NBCUniversal, for a total runtime of 146 minutes.
From director David Leitch, “The Fall Guy” hit VOD under a month after its theatrical release. The action-comedy debuted with just $28.5 million at the U.S.
box office during its opening weekend, short of its projected $30 million to $40 million. The budget for the film was between $125 million and $150 million, and the global box office has since gone up to $171.8 million. “The Fall Guy” stars Gosling as Colt Seavers, a Hollywood stuntman who retires after an on-set injury.
