Strictly's Nadiya Bychkova's cryptic 'single parent' comment after split from Kai Widdrington
ok.co.ukStrictly Come Dancing's Nadiya Bychkova has posted a mysterious message about the challenges of being a single mum.The 34 year old professional dancer was revealed to have split from her co-star Kai Widdrington, 28, last month after they fell in love on the BBC show.The couple started dating in 2022 and tried to keep their romance under wraps before eventually going public.
However, in July 2024, it was said the couple had gone their separate ways after two years. Nadiya was previously married to Russian dancer Sergey Konovaltsev for two years and was later engaged to footballer Matija Skarabot.They share a daughter named Mila, but Nadiya announced in January 2022 that they had separated and had been living apart for some time.
Sharing the cryptic message on her Instagram, Nadiya posted a quote that read: "As a single mom I work hard because I simply can't afford not to.
I have no one to fall back on. I am the back up plan." Nadiya had previously shared on Loose Women last year that her daughter Mila had a sweet bond with Kai.
