Onasis Mensah, of Hillbrook Road, Bramhall, was being looked into as part of a major investigation by Greater Manchester Police into a drugs county line operating in the Beswick area of Manchester.
The probe into the dealing of drugs first began in September 2022 by the GMP County Lines Team. The county line, branded 'Uno' did not send bulk messages to users because it was so well established that customers were regular and aware of its opening times. Specialist detectives were already aware of Mensah after one of his associates was arrested in December 2022 with large quantities of crack cocaine and heroin stashed in his underwear, ready for onward distribution.
