The most and least affordable areas to buy a house in Greater Manchester have now been revealed. The latest average house prices have been released by the HM Land Registry, with our exclusive analysis showing which are the cheapest and most expensive postcodes across the region.

Bardsley in Oldham is the cheapest place to buy a home in Greater Manchester, with homes in the OL8 postcode area selling for an average price of £151,220 over the last 12 months.

Little Hulton in Salford is the next most affordable postcode in our region to buy a home. Houses sold for £156,399 each on average in the M38 postcode area.
