Nick Cave has announced a European solo live tour for this summer – you can find all the details below.The Bad Seeds frontman is due to hit the road in June for a run of headline dates, where he’ll be “performing songs from his extensive catalogue”. Cave will be accompanied on stage by Radiohead bassist Colin Greenwood.He’ll begin the forthcoming stint with three shows at the Onassis Stegi venue in Athens, Greece on June 1, 2 and 3 before an appearance at the Belgrade River Fest in Serbia on June 18.Two further performances are scheduled for Musiikkitalo in Helsinki, Finland (June 25) and the Harpa concert hall in Reykjavík, Iceland (July 1).Tickets go on sale at 10am local time this Friday (April 12) – you’ll be able to buy yours here.

Radiohead‘s Colin Greenwood has announced How To Disappear, his new photo book that documents the bassist’s life with the band.How To Disappear marks Greenwood’s first book and was two decades in the making. It explores candid moments of Radiohead’s journey from 2003 up until their latest album, 2016’s ‘A Moon Shaped Pool‘.According to a press release, the book features candid moments of the group on stage, backstage, in the rehearsal room, behind the scenes, on tour, at work and at play through a time Greenwood refers to as “our middle years: all the joy and doubt and confidence and uncertainty we would oscillate between.”The book also includes a revealing essay written by the bassist about his life in the band.

At 18, he created a demo and sent it over to a magazine which earned him a great review and the response: “‘Who is this guy? He sounds just like Neil Young!’”“I went, ‘Who’s Neil Young?’” Yorke recalled. “I’d never even heard Neil Young, so I went out and bought ‘After The Gold Rush’ and was like, ‘Wow! Thom Yorke and Stanley Donwood have announced a new London art exhibition.The show, which is titled ‘The Crow Flies Part One’, is due to run at the Tin Man Art gallery at Cromwell Place in South Kensington between September 6-10.It’ll feature a series of new paintings that long-term friends and collaborators Yorke and Donwood created together over the past two years.Per a description, the works began as cover artwork for ‘A Light For Attracting Attention’, the 2022 debut album from Yorke’s side-project The Smile, whose line-up is completed by Radiohead‘s Jonny Greenwood and Sons Of Kemet‘s Tom Skinner.“The wider series will be presented alongside a Flemish woven tapestry commissioned by the artists in London to celebrate the album’s one-year anniversary,” the official listing reads.“This exhibition marks a significant moment in a 30-year artistic partnership for Yorke and Donwood, who worked on it together in Oxford and Brighton between 2021 and 2023. The Pretenders have teamed up with Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood for their new song ‘I Think About You Daily’ – stream it below.‘I Think About You Daily’ is the second song released from The Pretenders’ forthcoming album ‘Relentless’, which arrives on September 15.The moving ballad features a string arrangement from Greenwood, who is a composer outside of his work with Radiohead and The Smile.The Pretenders singer and guitarist Chrissie Hynde said in a statement that her band are “obviously big fans” of Greenwood and revealed how the collaboration came together.“I saw him at the Phantom Thread premiere [the film of which Greenwood scored] where the film was running on screen with a live orchestra playing. It sounds 1970s, but there are drum machines, there are guitars but they’re singing in Arabic…what’s going on?”Greenwood discussed how the project compared to another past collaboration with an Israeli singer, Shye Ben Tzur, saying: “‘Jarak Qaribak’ presented a similar set of problems, in that you have all these scales which don’t conform to western major/minor scales, and have notes which involve quarter-tones, and it’s very hard to impose a chord sequence on these melodies. Philip Selway has announced a string of upcoming UK shows, following the release of his latest solo album.The Radiohead drummer is currently gearing up to hit the road as part of an upcoming solo tour – which kicks off in May.The six UK performances will follow a series of dates from across Europe, including the Café Del La Danse in Paris and the Columbia Theater in Berlin. From there, the UK leg of the tour will begin in Glasgow on May 15, and run through until May 21, where it ends in Manchester.Live performances will also be held in Leeds, Birmingham and Bristol, as well as a slot at London’s Union Chapel on May 18.
