The Apprentice star Dr Asif Munaf has broken his silence after he was accused of making anti-semitic comments online. He has since been dropped from aftershow You're Fired, and will not appear on following his exit.Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Asif addressed his upcoming exit from the show, writing: "My time on the show will come to end tonight.

But this is just the beginning. We thank Him for the opportunity to bring the plight of our brothers and sisters in Gaza to the mainstream." He followed this with another statement, reading: "They called for me to be cut out the broadcaster and suspended my the regulator.Today me journey on the show ended.

But my journey with Him is still ongoing. Never sell your faith for fame. Always keep speaking the truth. Especially in the midst of genocide." He later returned to social media to accuse the BBC of breaking their own rules as they had revealed that he had been the candidate axed from the show by announcing that he would not be appearing on You're Fired.

He wrote: "The lobby is so strong that they can even breach broadcasting rules of not revealing the departing candidate." Following the announcement that Dr Asif would be taking part in The Apprentice, a number of allegedly anti-semitic tweets emerged that he had posted in recent months.
