Harry was educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He spent parts of his gap year in Australia and Lesotho. He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

Prince Harry and Meghan 'cry' as they visit family of teacher killed in Texas shooting

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were moved to tears recently during a heartfelt visit to the family of a brave teacher. The Duchess of Sussex, who recently gave a rare insight into their family life in the US, and the Duke Of Sussex visited the loved ones of Irma Garcia, 48, who heroically gave her life to protect her young students during a tragic school shooting in Uvalde, Texas.

Sadly, two days after the incident, Irma's husband Joe passed away from heartbreak. John, Irma's 22 year old nephew, shared photos of the Royal couple's visit on social media, and was touched by how "loving and supportive" Harry and Meghan were.

According to John, they "fit right in" and it felt like having close friends over.The Sussexes even surprised John's mum with a birthday cake.

Videos show a glowing Meghan holding the white dessert and smiling warmly. She and Harry led the family in singing happy birthday in their kitchen.
